Flying Pig, Queen Bee Announce Official Training Partnership with Fleet Feet Sports


Cincinnati (For Immediate Release) – The Flying Pig Marathon powered by P&G and the Queen Bee Half Marathon, empowered by P&G and Kroger and Medpace 4 Miler, are proud to announce that Fleet Feet Cincinnati is signed on as the official training program partner for both events in 2020. 


Thousands of area runners and walkers are already training with Fleet Feet for Flying Pig Marathon Weekend, May 1-3, 2020. Queen Bee training groups will start this summer.


“We are so excited to have Fleet Feet Cincinnati as our official training partner for our two major events,” said Iris Simpson Bush, Flying Pig executive director. “We have a long relationship with the staff at Fleet Feet Cincy and we are thrilled to have them lead our training groups for both the Flying Pig and Queen Bee.” 


As the Official Flying Pig Training Program, Fleet Feet offers premium, full service Flying Pig Training Programs for every Pig event. The training programs are offered in all three locations, Blue Ash, Oakley and West Chester with up to three fully coached and serviced group runs per week. 


Participants will have access to a 17-week program designed by professional running coaches with a focus on runner and walker safety, education, social outings and of course, fun.  With Pace Groups every :30 per mile beginning at 7:30 min/mile to intervals and walkers with dedicated Pace Group Leaders, and turn-by-turn routes runners and walkers of all levels will feel comfortable joining this program; especially their Award Winning Beginner No Boundaries 5K group.

The 22nd running of the Flying Pig Marathon Weekend powered by P&G will be Friday, May 1-Sunday, May 3, 2020. Registration is open at The Queen Bee Half Marathon, empowered by P&G and Kroger and the Medpace 4 Miler will be Saturday, October 10, 2020. Find out more at
