iTAB Expands International Reach with New Race Partners
iTAB the UK-based medal personalisation service, has continued to expand its reach internationally with a host of new partners signed in the United States, Canada, Australia, Asia and Europe.
The British, organically grown, company partners with a range of Race Directors, race registration platforms, timers and medal manufacturers across five continents and 20 countries. New partners include Chevron Houston Marathon, LA Marathon and Marine Corp Marathon in the United States and one of the world’s largest half marathons, Göteborgsvarvet in Europe – who all offer their runners the opportunity to personalise their medal with an iTAB, engraved with their name and finish time. As well as being a way for the runner to commemorate their hard work and achievement, iTAB also offers an incremental revenue stream for the event.
iTAB’s Co-Founder and Managing Director, Ceri Philpott says: “We are proud to partner with an international portfolio of mass participation events – offering the highest quality of service, irrespective of where the event may be taking place. Working with valued partners means we can offer iTAB across the US, Canada, Australasia, Asia and, closer to home, in Europe.”
The demand for the product has skyrocketed over the past year, as the iTAB has become an integral piece of the runners’ race experience. New US partners, Dwayne & Dana Debardelaben from Rocket City Marathon says: “As race directors, we’re always looking for unique and meaningful ways to make our event special for each runner. iTAB provides exactly that, with the option to customize a medal with the runner’s name and time. But even better, from a logistical standpoint is there’s no guesswork on ordering. The numbers are always exactly right. We can’t imagine why anyone would fail to take advantage of iTAB. There is exactly nothing to lose and so much to gain...”
