Kelsey Beall represents Kids Run the OC, the 2019 Running USA Youth Award recipient. She commented:

"It was such an honor to have our Kids Run the OC program recognized at Running USA and to be awarded the $10,000 support. In 2019, more than 20,000 children from 150 schools and educational agencies benefited from the program in our local community with 9,200 children registering for the Final Mile event during the OC Running Festival.

"The funds have allowed us to hire an additional full-time staff person to assist us with administering the program and we anticipate that many more children will have the opportunity to be inspired to fitness in 2020 because of the award from Running USA.”

Nomination submissions for the Youth Award program must be completed by Friday, Dec. 6.
