Running USA and imATHLETE Data Insight Webinar No. 6:  Ambassador Programs, Best (And Not So Best) Practices

Registration now open for sixth webinar in the immensely popular Data Insight Series, with practical tips and advice from Jeff Matlow, imATHLETE CEO and endurance industry best practices expert

(February 20, 2019) – Registration is now open for the sixth webinar in the Running USA and imATHLETE Data Insight Series, which will focus on Ambassador Programs and current best practices to make such programs effective for your event.

Ambassador programs are increasingly popular in the running event industry, but have a wide variety of formats and set-ups.  Some programs are highly effective while others fall flat. Do you know where you stand?

"When done well, ambassador programs can have a meaningful, long-term impact on your event,” says Jeff Matlow, CEO of imATHLETE and former ambassador. “The data and anecdotal evidence we’ve accumulated is guaranteed to get you thinking.  Not that you’re not thinking but, well, you know what I mean.”

Set for Tuesday, March 21, 2019 at 11am PST, you should register for the webinar here and do it now.

The Data Insight Series webinars focus on key data points about endurance athletes and how the information can be utilized to solve business challenges and promote growth. The first DIS webinar focused on runner retention rates and ways to improve them to drive event participation. The second DIS webinar focused on how far runners will travel to participate in different distances of events. DIS No. 3 covered when runners register based on how far they live from the event. DIS No. 4 was on the common misuse of discount codes. DIS No. 5 educated attendees on comp code best practices.

Anyone interested can access the recordings of those presentations on RunningUSA.org. From the home page, navigate the Webinar section under Education.
