New Turnkey System Makes Race Videos at No Cost to Athletes

All it takes is a GoPro and your race’s timing data

Colorado Springs, Colorado: TriVids Media launched its finishline.me service at the 2019 USA Triathlon Race Director Summit in Colorado Springs. FinishLine allows race directors, timers and photo companies to give every athlete competing in an event their race video at no cost to the athletes.

USA Triathlon Board of Directors President Barry Siff said, "Race directors, timing companies and race photographers should always be looking for new, creative and innovative ways to make their participants’ day as memorable and enjoyable as possible. FinishLine now offers races a truly value-added, cost-effective way to do this through free videos at your event. It was truly cool to see this done at USA Triathlon’s Race Director Summit, where finish line videos were available to us for our own little 5K fun run."

FinishLine is a powerful set of tools that allows race companies to:

  • Use their GoPro cameras to record finish line or multiple clips of racers
  • Drag and drop their video and timing data files to the cloud
  • Give every athlete in the event their race video at no cost to them

Race videos deepen athletes’ connection to their events and are highly social. Race companies can brand their videos using pre- and post-video logo placement, and “buy my photos” links are available to help sell photos, if available through a photo company.
