To Celebrate the 10-Year Anniversary of The Cowtown C.A.L.F Run, 500 Participants will have the Opportunity to Win a Free iTAB to Personalize their Finisher Medal

iTAB has partnered with The Cowtown Marathon Organization to offer 500 lucky C.A.L.F. Run participants the chance to win an iTAB medal insert/ribbon hanger to celebrate their individual journey and personalize their Finisher Medal.

As part of the Cowtown Marathon mission to promote a lifelong love of fitness, The C.A.L.F (Children’s Activities for Life and Fitness) Program was created in 2009 to encourage tens of thousands of children to lace up their running shoes and cross the finish line. Staff and volunteers have visited around 400 schools across North Texas each year – in a bid to inspire and coach the next generation of runners and develop life-long healthy habits.

In the past 10 years, The C.A.L.F. program has supported more than 30,000 children in the pursuit of health. To celebrate this remarkable achievement iTAB is very happy to offer 500 lucky participants a free iTAB to personalize their finisher medal with their name and unique finish time.

iTAB and The Cowtown will be launching a social media competition on The Cowtown Facebook page, prior to the C.A.L.F. 5K, 10K, and 1 Mile Walk & Run – which takes place on Saturday 5th October 2019.

C.A.L.F. participants (or their parents/guardians) will just need to like, share and comment on the post to win a free iTAB.

Heidi Swartz, Executive Director of The Cowtown Marathon, recently commented on this collaboration, saying, “We are extremely excited about partnering with iTAB as we commemorate this year’s mile- stone event of ten years. The C.A.L.F. Run medals this year have a fun and unique western motif, and we feel that adding the personalization of iTAB to memorialize runners’ accomplishments will make these high-quality medals even more special. Come join us on October 5th at Coyote Drive-In on the banks of the Trinity River for a scenic and fun morning, with a free pancake breakfast to follow.”

Registration is also now open for The Cowtown Marathon - a city-wide event that welcomes participants from 49 US states and 11 different countries – with an estimated 23,000 registered participants.

The Cowtown Race Weekend takes place on the last weekend in February every year and is the second largest multi-event race in Texas. The event welcomes runners and walkers of all abilities and includes both the Kids 5K Presented by Academy Sports and Adults 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Marathon, the all- new Marathon Relay, and the Ultra Marathon. To enhance the race experience, The Cowtown is partnering with iTAB to offer its runners the chance to celebrate their individual journey by personalizing their finisher medal with their name and unique finish time.

If runners didn’t purchase an iTAB during registration, they can simply log back into their Race Roster account and order an iTAB in a few simple steps.

The iTAB is a small engraved plate which fits perfectly into a recess on the back of the runners’ finisher medal or neatly on the ribbon hanger.

Runners simply collect their medal at the finish line and their iTAB arrives in the mail a few weeks later engraved with their name and finish time.
