Running USA and imATHLETE Data Insight Webinar No. 5:  Comp Codes and How Events Use Them

Registration now open for fifth webinar in the immensely popular Data Insight Series, with practical tips and advice from Jeff Matlow, imATHLETE CEO and endurance industry best practices expert

(December 12, 2018) – Registration is now open for the fifth webinar in the Running USA and imATHLETE Data Insight Series, which will focus on use of comp codes by endurance events and utilizing such codes to help, not harm, your event.

“The Data Insight Series has been one of many excellent educational opportunities we’ve offered for Running USA members in 2018, and we’re excited to see it continue into next year,” said Running USA CEO Rich Harshbarger. “Jeff’s last webinar on discount codes and how they’re commonly misused, which you can find on our website, was a huge hit – in fact it was the best attended webinar we’ve ever had.”

"We at imATHLETE get our jollies from listening to the common questions race directors have, then using our data and expertise to help create answers,”  said Matlow.  This webinar will educate every event about comp code usage and stop you from making the same mistakes you’ve always made with comp codes.”

Set for Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019 at 11am PST, you can register for the webinar here.

The Data Insight Series webinars focus on key data points about endurance athletes and how the information can be utilized to solve business challenges and promote growth. The first webinar focused on runner retention rates and ways to improve them to drive event participation. The second webinar focused on how far runners will travel to participate in different distances of events. Webinar No. 3 covered when runners register based on how far they live from the event. Presentation No. 4 was on the common misuse of discount codes.
