Programming Sneak Peek for Running USA 2019, Conference Price Increase Coming on Aug. 31

 

The 16th edition of the world’s largest gathering of running industry professionals will take place in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Feb. 10-12

DETROIT (Aug. 28, 2018) – The 2019 Running USA Industry Conference, powered by ACTIVE Network, is looking like it could be the best gathering of the global running industry yet. Puerto Rico has made an impressive comeback from last year’s hurricane, and the Running USA team is thrilled to be part of the island’s ongoing economic recovery.

With registrations on track to set an event record, a great report from onsite at the San Juan venue, and the content schedule looking epic, it’s a great time to register before the price jumps at midnight this Friday. Aug. 31.

As announced last week, an exciting opportunity for Running USA event members to pitch Brooks Running and Nuun for sponsorship packages is among the highlights. Entries for the Run Happy Pitch Fest Presented by Brooks will be accepted beginning Sept. 1, and finalists will have the opportunity to pitch their event to the prospective sponsors on the main conference stage at Running USA 2019. Bowen and her conference planning committee have completed the first round of conference programming, and session highlights so far include:

  • Company Culture: how to use it to create a competitive advantage that brings exceptional job applicants to your door. Kevin Rutherford, CEO of Nuun, has been recognized as a leading U.S. CEO when it comes to creating amazing corporate culture.
  • Leveraging the power of CRM improve your business: CRM for Everyone: the age of intelligent marketing” will be a general session panel focused on how you can make better use of the customer information you already have right at your fingertips. Lennie Kwan, VP of Customer Experience for Race Roster, will moderate an exciting panel discussion.
  • Return of the beloved Race Camps: an amazing place to workshop and troubleshoot challenges in the industry as a whole and apply solutions to your day to day business.
